1. Checking  your status online is the fastest way for you to know what activity is taking place.  Your record is updated nightly with new information.  Enter your data EXACTLY as you did on the application.  Your RUID, SSN, birthdate and gender are required.

2. You will not be able to check your status without a valid RUID number. Your RUID is a nine digit number in the following format: ###00####. If you have not received your RUID, or have misplaced it, you may recover it by logging into your application at https://admissionservices.rutgers.edu/graduate/returnUserLogin.app.

3. In most cases, it will take 24 hours before you can check your application status. In some cases, such as holidays and weekends, it may take longer. For example, if you applied at 9pm on a Saturday night, you may not be able to check your status until the following Tuesday.
