Your program may require official transcripts in order to review your application. However, many programs can review your application with unofficial transcripts and will request official transcripts only if you are admitted. You can upload your unofficial transcripts by visiting the supporting materials website.
If your institution is a sending member of Parchment, eScrip-Safe, or National Student Clearinghouse, Rutgers will be able to receive your official transcripts electronically. We also accept official electronic transcripts from India sent via TrueCopy Credentials.
If your institution's e-transcript provider requires an email address in order to send your official transcript electronically to Graduate Admissions, you can provide them an email address from the list below:

If it has been 24 hours since you submitted your application and paid your fee, you can upload supporting materials required by your program online using your application login ID and PIN. If you upload supporting materials, do not mail paper copies of those same materials to our office.
You can upload PDF, Word, and RTF files as well as scanned images of transcripts or scores using common image formats like JPEG and PNG with a resolution of at least 200 dpi. Just keep in mind that each of your materials should be less than 4 MB (megabytes) in size. If the item you are uploading is not listed as a credential type, please select the Other type. You can update any of your existing uploads by re-uploading the same credential type, which will replace what is currently there.
Submit your application early enough before your program’s deadline to ensure your recommendations arrive in time. You should also submit supporting materials prior to your program’s application deadline.
In addition to the basic application requirements, there may be specific forms that are required by your program or our office.
